Dean Lane, Winchester

In 2020, Global Ceramics were tasked by our Client, Orchard Homes Special Projects, with supplying and fitting tiles to this development of two properties in a sought after location in Winchester, Hampshire.

Each four bedroom property required the tiling to one bathroom, two ensuites and a cloakroom. These are modern contemporary properties built to exceptionally high standards which needed to be reflected in the tiling throughout each of the different areas.

Global Ceramics have provided tiling solutions Orchard Homes Special Projects for a number of years and understand the high standards required by the client. Global Ceramics helped to guide the client through the selection process ensuring the final chosen tiles, adhesive and grout, not only suited the property and potential buyers, but were of the high standards required for this project ensuring quality and longevity of the both the installation and products used.

To complement the modern design evident throughout the houses, large format Porcelanosa tiles were chosen. The houses had underfloor heating installed to the first floor bathrooms, therefore Mapei adhesive and grouts were selected ensuring the client had a high specification product throughout the project. These high standards are reflected by the use of Mapai grout from the Ultracolour plus range selected to complement the chosen tiles.

The project from selection through to installation complete, took approximately four to five months, with approximately one month onsite and required 200m2 of tiling.
